Are you passionate about theatre and screen? The Graduate Diploma in Creative Practice allows you to focus on a specialist theatre and screen discipline. The creative and cultural industries demand more flexible individuals – that’s why we tailor individual study pathways, so you’re equipped with the skills and expertise needed to work in a broad range of creative activities.

Theatre and Screen:

Focus on a specialist creative practice of theatre, dance and film. Acquire in-depth knowledge and skills about the theatre and screen business, and realise your own creative projects. Learn from industry professionals who have spent many years in the theatre, film and TV industries.

Explore the ideals and methodology of creativity in business, and cultural industries and the arts.
Discover creative concepts from their initial stages through to completion, and collaborate with fellow performing arts students to produce a wide range of projects. Explore creative practices from cutting-edge experimental work through to industry standard, and get hands-on experience in our dance and television studios, drama theatre and more.

 

Duration:                                                                                                                                                                              Full-time for one year

English language:                                                                                                                                                   Applicants must have an overall IELTS (Academic) band score of no less than 6.5 (with no band score lower than 6.0), or a TOEFL score of no less than 575, or equivalent; or must have an appropriate Unitec English language qualification, such as the Diploma in English (Advanced), or equivalent.
