Wintec's Master of Nursing programme provides theoretical knowledge as well as clinical, technical and ethical learning experiences, with an aim to building capacity to respond to increasingly diverse populations and complex health environments. The Nursing Council of New Zealand approved Clinical Masters provides opportunities for role development in advanced nursing practice, including Nurse Practitioner. Expert clinicians provide our Masters students with clinical mentorship to assist in consolidating and articulating advanced nursing practice and presenting evidence of it as portfolio for practice. You will be joined in critically reflexive discussions about practice by guest clinicians from nursing and other disciplines as well as visiting scholars and Nurse Practitioners.
International students must hold a current New Zealand practicing certificate as a registered nurse and have an IELTS score of 7 in each band.
