Course Overview
• The Diploma in Advanced Travel and Tourism Management (level 6) is a two year programme specifically for international students.
• The programme is based on the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Travel and Tourism Management, a well established international qualification developed by Edexcel UK, who are the awarding body for the qualification.
• The qualification is awarded at Distinction, Merit and Pass levels. Those who are awarded Distinction and Merit levels can progress to the third year of a BA/BSc programme in UK and Australian Universities.
• + A suite of travel and tourism unit standards specific to the New Zealand industry is also included in order to provide technical skills and destinational content, maximizing student’s employment opportunities at graduation.
• + The inclusion of an international computer reservations system completes the foundation semester, providing students with exposure to a range of systems in use within the international airline world.
