 (32 week certificate)

Winters programmes are New Zealand Qualifications Authority approved and accredited, offering International Students unit standards on the NZ Qualifcations Framework. These programmes assist students to develop the necessary hairdressing skills and knowledge required to develop a career within the International Hairdressing Industry. As an exclusive Pivot Point Member School, Winters also offers Certificates in these accredited global programmes as well as qualifications toward NZ National Certificate in Hairdressing Practice.

Winters is totally focused on students getting the very best out of their training. The Tutorial Team is recognised for its passion, enthusiasm and commitment to delivering excellence in all aspects of hairdressing education. Winters actively supports International Students offering them a safe learning enviroment and is a signatory to the NZ Ministry Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International students.

This is a one semester, 32 week full time training programme where students:
Gain Pivot Point International Hairdressing Qualifications
Achieve the NZ National Certificate in Slaon Support
Achieve with additional NZQA Unit Standards up to level 3.

This creates the pathway to the NZ National Certifcate in Hairdressing Practice.

The aim of this programme is to prepare the student to fit smoothly into a professional hairdressing salon enviroment. The programme is comprehensive and follows a natural progression in terms of gaining hairdressing skills.

THIS PROGRAMME WILL ENABLE YOU TO:

• Develop the hairdressing skill and professional competences necessary to become a valuble salon team member.
• Gain full time employment in the hairdressing industry through Winters network with hairdressing salons thoughout Auckland.
• Achieve accredited NZQA unit standards toward the National Certificate in Hairdressing Practice.
• Achieve up to 6 internationally recognised Pivot Point Certificates in hairdressing.
