The Postgraduate Diploma in Design provides an opportunity for students to build on learning achieved in prior degrees, up-skill in creative practice, technologies and theory and exit with a postgraduate level qualification in one year (subject to places being available in the chosen papers). In addition the diploma provides an introduction to postgraduate research processes and contemporary design theory and, when achieved at an appropriate level, will provide access to the Master of Design programme.
