An increasing number of Arts, Humanities, Social Science and Science graduates wish to acquire a professional social work qualification as part of their professional development and to further their career opportunities. The MSW (Applied) programme is designed for people working in human services and/or aspiring social work practitioners who have a degree but not a social work qualification.
The Master of Social Work (Applied) degree enables students to obtain a recognised professional postgraduate qualification, and prepares students for social work registration in New Zealand and in many other countries.
