Master of Veterinary Science: The day-to-day care of animals is in the hands of animal care-givers, animal owners and veterinarians. However, the techniques and tools that these people use must continually be improved. This is the function of those who undertake advanced study in veterinary science. Those who undertake advanced studies will typically be employed either by agencies with a research focus or hospitals with responsibility for specialist care of animals.
