The NZIM Diploma in Management is an NZQA approved level 5 qualification. This qualification consists of six papers of 20 credits each from the NZ Diploma in Business or their equivalent in other qualifications. The student needs to pass in four compulsory business papers plus two optional papers in management areas to complete the qualification. To be awarded the NZIM Diploma in Management Level 5 students must be credited with 120 credits.
