This one year qualification is a practical course designed with most of the time spent in the jewellery workshop. Students will learn traditional and contemporary jewellery making and design skills. Students are encouraged to work with a variety of materials and experiment with designs and concepts. The Certificate in Jewellery is the first year of the Diploma in Jewellery, successful students are accepted into year two of the Diploma in Jewellery.
