Year One
IT concepts and skills, Hardware Concepts & Skills, Applied Communication, Introduction to Programming and Database, Maths, Programming1, Data Communication, Enterprise Systems, High Level Scripting Languages.
Year Two
Internet Technology, IT Practice, Data Communication & Computer Networks, Networks Administration & Support, Applied Operation Systems, Systems Administration, Logical Database Design, Help Desk & Service Provision, Project Work.
Each course contributes 15 credits towards the AUT Bachelor Degree in Computing and Information Sciences.
Next Step: (Bachelor Degree Or Employment)
Entry into AUT Bachelor Degree in Computing and Information Sciences (BCIS) programme for their final year of study towards university degree. Their studies at New Zealand School of Education will give two full years of credits towards the AUT degree.
