The aim of the Graduate Diploma is to allow students with a degree in another discipline to gain significant advanced expertise and knowledge in computer and information sciences (two semester full time/part-time equivalent).

The Graduate Diploma in Computer and Information Sciences provides a sound technical understanding of computing and information technology and the ability to plan, develop and apply appropriate technologies and tools to framing and solving problems. This programme comprises papers from our Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences degree.

The Graduate Diploma in Computer and Information Sciences also provides a sound foundation for study for the Master of Computer and Information Sciences, and in many cases, Masters applicants are required to complete the Graduate Diploma in Computer and Information Sciences prior to commencement of their postgraduate study.
