Emergency Management programmes provide those involved or interested in emergency management with a pathway of study that is applied and practice oriented. The postgraduate certificate and masters programmes will focus on psychological, societal and behavioural factors as prime agents in the cause of, or response to, emergencies. The programmes will significantly advance government initiatives for the enhancement of national and local reduction, readiness, response and recovery from emergency situations. Concepts will be addressed broadly and principles of emergency management demonstrated, contextualised and applied in practice.
