English Plus Ski/Snowboard Instructor Course

Improve your English for Instructor Training Programme for NZSIA Certificate and NZSIA Stage 1.

Option 1: English for Ski/Snowboard Instructor course - June to July

Full-time English preparation course including 6 weeks of intensive General English study - 25 hours per week (150 hours in total) in order to prepare students for the Coronet Peak Snowsports Instructor Training programme. http://www.nzski.com/guides/coronetpeak/school/instructor.jsp

This focuses on improving all English skills with a special focus on improving speaking, listening, public speaking with use of video and confidence in English in order to be able to take part and pass instructor training for NZSIA cert and NZSIA Stage 1

Also include d : transport to & from accommodation to the college, which is situated at the foot of Coronet Peak ; airport transfer to the accommodation and full use of the college facilities.

Extra Option : home-stay with a local family for 6 weeks and 3 nights inclusive. You will then be moved to Pinewood Lodge in Queenstown where you will stay for the full 8-week training programme with the other candidates.

Option 2: English course during Coronet Peak Snowsports Training programme - 18 hours in total - July to August.

18 hours English preparation timetabled to fit in with Coronet Peak Instructor Training course; 9 sessions of 2 hours.

Also includes transfers from Coronet Peak to college for English sessions and transfers back to Pinewood Lodge after English sessions.
