A professional programme for education graduates, teachers, principals, lecturers, administrators and others in education or related fields. The degree can be completed by either coursework or by coursework and a thesis. Areas of specialisation include: Career Development and Counselling Studies; Pacific Nations Education; Special Education; Special Needs Resource Teaching; Teaching and Learning; and Theory and Research in Education.
The MEd provides a professional postgraduate qualification in education for teachers, educational administrators, public servants, researchers and industry educators/trainers. You can select from a wide range of courses - you are able to tailor your study to suit your personal, professional and academic needs.
A number of the MEd courses are taught online, and this can provide the flexibility that you may be looking for. Campus-based classes are held late in the afternoon, as block courses over several days, and at weekends, allowing you to continue working.
