Auckland is New Zealand’s largest city, with 1.3 million people.
The one year full time Master of Creative and Performing Arts (MCPA) combines conceptual and practical work. It provides high level technical training in sound recording and design, and will give you an in depth appreciation of the importance of recorded sound in society and the arts.
You will be expected to write a dissertation or thesis in an area of interest relating to sound recording and design. You may also have the opportunity to take up a placement in the sound industry, working alongside experienced professionals.
Graduates from this programme often go on to careers in audio post-production and music recording for international record labels.
