Master of Engineering Management

The MEMgt is a postgraduate engineering programme to which both the Faculty of Engineering and the University of Auckland Business School contribute.

The programme is structured around a major project in engineering management, with supporting courses from each of the Faculty of Engineering and the Executive Programmes section of the University of Auckland Business School. The programme requires students to have or be able to gain access to current information in industry and to be able to interact with industry and negotiate projects. The structure of the programme may be tailored to fit individual needs within an approved programme of study.

Entry to the MEMgt is limited to 20 students per year.

MEMgt is designed to accelerate the development of engineering management expertise amongst professional engineers early in their careers and to present an advanced qualification for entry-level engineering management. To be eligible for admission, students must have completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree or an appropriate Technology, and demonstrate a competency in communication skills.
