The Postgraduate Diploma in Community Emergency Medicine (PGDipComEmMed) is designed for the general practitioner or accident and medical doctor who feels the need to improve or maintain their skills. The diploma is the equivalent of one year of full-time study, but can be done over three years.

International students with medical qualifications from an overseas institution may be eligible for entry into postgraduate research programme, but will not be eligible to undertake clinical studies unless registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
