Auckland

Auckland is New Zealand’s largest city, with 1.3 million people.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health (PGDipPH) is offered by the Division of Community Health. The postgraduate programme is principally for future or current health professionals in public health, policy-making, planning and research positions. It is a full-time, one-year course of study requiring completion of a Foundation in Public Health course, and other optional courses which cover epidemiology, environmental health, health promotion, health economics, Maori health, Pacific health, health policy and management. Students who have completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health may credit that qualification towards the PGDipPH. The PGDipPH may also be used as credit for half the points required for a Masters in Public Health.
