This graduate diploma provides an opportunity to acquire additional specialist knowledge and skills in the field of management in chosen strands of business, forestry, health and Maori development. This qualification enables students to develop the management skills and knowledge required to successfully work in and manage a sustainable business operation in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
Graduates will be able to:
- solve work-based problems through an understanding of contemporary management theories and practice;
- demonstrate a higher level of knowledge of essential management principles including leadership, strategic management and marketing;
- direct the use of resources of a private or public organisation to achieve the organisation’s objectives and achieve long term sustainability;
