Pitcharat Sookdee

Despite spending only 16 weeks in New Zealand, Pitcharat Sookdee known as Patty enjoyed a New Zealand education that gave her English language skills that she's now used around the world!

"I chose New Zealand and the Northland Polytechnic to study because those were the right places for me. New Zealand is a fantastic country everywhere, it is green and the countryside has a lot of cute mountains. I had heard about New Zealand since I was little, so it was my dream to visit.

My time at Northland Polytechnic helped my progress in English, my language skills definitely improved from studying there. I had a great time there I still miss the teachers, and the warm, friendly atmosphere and liked the way of teaching and studying. It was a good, natural way to make all students profit from their learning. It became my second home.

Since my time in New Zealand, I have worked as a foreign affair officer for Ubon Ratchathani University, travelled through five countries in Europe and enjoyed talking in English all the time! Now living in Bangkok, I'm working on being a part-time English teach. I volunteer as an English teacher at my father's school. I've also done some tourist guiding."
