- International LitCam Conference, Frankfurter Hof Hotel in the CBD. This conference brings together 200 experts in education and literacy, including NGOs, publishers and government officials from around the world. This year's theme is 'Literacy and active citizenship'. Karen Sewell, former Secretary for Education and newly appointed Chair of The Correspondance School / Te Aho O Te Kura Pounamu is the key note speaker, talking about the high quality, world leading New Zealand education system.
